Holiday Adventures!

Hello Everyone! Happy 2014!

I am sorry for not blogging as of late, but the Holidays are a very busy time for me. My schedule is packed and I have very serious timelines. I have to make sure everyone pets me and loves me before the new year! So... priorities people!

I got to see so many different members of my family that I am exhausted for a month and a half straight! I saw Memere, Pepere, Uncle Paul, Aunt Irene, Kayla (my roedeshian ridgeback cousin), Derek, Karen, Koa (Shiba Inu Cousin), AbbyDog (mom's mom), Don, DadDog (moms Dad), Cookie Lady (Tish), Haley, Will and Kevin! So many people whom I love and so many people who love me! I got yelled at several times for being so excited and jumping on people. BUT I CAN'T HELP IT! I LOVE EVERYONE!

My Memere and Pepere live in Rhode Island so at the holidays, mom and I load up, say goodbye to moms and Muffin and head to the Ocean State. I do not sleep on the way down. I stay awake the entire time because I know where we are going. As we pull onto Farnum Pike I stand up, ears forward and alert! I know I will see my Memere and Pepere soon! When we get to the house, mom leashes me up and I run to the door. Then she yanks me backwards and tells me to pee.

"But Mom!! I want to run inside and see Memere and Pepere!"

"Mads you need to pee."

"But I don't have to pee."

"Yes Mads, you need to pee."

"No!"

"Yes."

"NO"

"YES"

"Fine..."

That is when I do the tiniest little piddle just to satisfy moms request so I can go in and say Hello to everyone and get love from Memere, Pepere and Uncle Paul! HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Rhode Island, but there is no place like home. When I get home, mom tells me I smell like a Pomme Frite. That's because Pepere makes homemade French fries and their whole house smells like oil! It takes a few days for the smell to go away. When we get home, I jump on my Muffin and nibble her face! She jumps on me and licks my ears and it feels good to be back home with my family! Then, I pass out until the next morning.

The moms stayed home with us for 12 days straight! I love when the moms stay home, but seriously, 12 days...? I thought that our food supply was going to run low, but moms assured us they had "money in the bank" to get more foods. Muffin and I also got to go to a new place for a long walk called Wagon Hill! We traversed through lots of snows, got to go on new trails and go for an hour walk.

We were exhausted by the time we were done and we slept for days once the moms went back to work! There is the update from my holiday vacation with moms! Until next time, Good Day!
